About Asigna
Asigna is a native multisig solution tailored for Bitcoin, Stacks, Merlin, and Fractal, designed to provide an extra layer of security to trusted wallets across all four ecosystems. From the beginning, we’ve adopted a native-first approach to address two fundamental concerns: eliminating potential risks associated with smart contract strategies (especially on Stacks) and optimizing gas fees across networks.
Our implementation on Bitcoin leverages Taproot multisig transactions, known for their gas efficiency. Similarly, for Stacks, rigorous testing has shown that native transactions are far more cost-effective than smart contract-based methods. This efficiency and reliability extend seamlessly to Merlin and Fractal, where native operations continue to provide both performance and cost advantages.
Our native strategies unlock extensive flexibility, supporting all standard wallet operations. These include interactions with Decentralized Exchanges (DEXes), bridges, DApps, NFT marketplaces, Ordinals, and BRC-20 tokens, providing a consistent experience across all supported platforms.
We prioritize the security of your assets by exclusively working with signatures from widely-used wallets, without ever interacting with private keys. Furthermore, even in the unlikely event of Asigna being discontinued, your wallets remain fully restorable — highlighting the resilience and robustness of our native-first approach.
