{% hint style="danger" %}

* When choosing the Vault Type, keep in mind that the owner using an **incompatible wallet extension** will not be able to join the Vault. This means that the Vault will not be created.
* It is also important to remember that you **cannot create a common Vault** for Extension wallets and Hardware/desktop wallets, even though they are compatible with the same type of Vault.
 {% endhint %}

#### ➱ Add co-owners

Add the **Bitcoin addresses** (not Ordinals\&BRC-20 addresses) of the co-owners to the wallet configuration. Ensure that each co-owner provides you with their valid Bitcoin address.

Enter the address in the field and click **Save**.

Or choose one of previously created contacts from your address book by clicking on the icon.

You can delete an already added owner by clicking **Trash Bin** icon.

#### ➱ **Set the confirmation threshold**

Define the minimum number of confirmations required to authorize a transaction and click **Next**.

This number should be less than or equal to the total number of co-owners. You can set the policy to 1 of 1, 2 of 3, 3 of 5, or any other combination that fits your needs.

{% hint style="info" %}
It is not recommended setting a threshold that requires all signers. For optimal Vault safety, there should always be at least one signer who is not required to approve every transaction.
{% endhint %}

#### ➱ Review and create your Vault

After setting the owners and policy, review your Vault configuration. Once you're satisfied, click **Create** to initialize the multisig creation on the Bitcoin blockchain. The creation process may take a few moments.

{% hint style="warning" %}
Vault owners and the confirmation threshold cannot be changed after the Vault is created.
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="danger" %}
**Vault with identical parameters (same number of signers, identical signer addresses, and confirmation threshold) cannot be created.**
{% endhint %}

#### ➱ Vault is created

Once your Vault is created, it will appear on the homepage. A newly created Vault can be in ready-to-use or in pending status.

{% hint style="info" %}

* **Ready-to-use** Vault have all the owners joined. The owner(s) can already manage it, send and receive tokens, create ordinal inscriptions and more.
* **Pending** Vault is still waiting owners to join. All the added owners have to join the Vault to finalize its creation.
 {% endhint %}

Once the last co-owner accepts an invitation and joins the Vault, pending status automatically switches to ready-to-use one.

### Joining the Vault

#### ➱ Join the pending Vault
