# Settings

In this section, you will learn about the Vault settings available in Asigna.

* [#archive-vault](#archive-vault "mention")
* [#privacy-mode](#privacy-mode "mention")
* [#email-notifications](#email-notifications "mention")

### Archive Vault

If a Vault is no longer in use and you don’t want it to appear in your list of **Active** Vaults, you can **archive** it. The Vault will not be deleted — it will simply move to your **Archived** Vaults list.

{% hint style="success" %}

* The Vault will **remain** fully functional and accessible for your and other owners.
* For other owners, the Vault will continue to appear in their **Active** Vaults list **until** they archive it **themselves.**
* The Vault can be **unarchived** at any time.
 {% endhint %}

#### ➱ **Access the Settings section**

Navigate to the **Settings** section of the selected Active Vault.

#### ➱ Check the Vault Archivation

Once the Vault is archived, the **Archive Vault** button will change to **Unarchive Vault**.

To view your archived Vaults, go to the homepage and click the **Archived** tab in Your Vaults list.

{% hint style="warning" %}
If you don’t have any archived Vaults, the **Active Vaults** and **Archived** tabs will not be visible on the homepage.
{% endhint %}

### Privacy Mode

**Privacy Mode** ensures that Your Vault details remain **private**. When **enabled**, it hides Your Vault from being accessed via a direct URL, preventing others from viewing Your Vault balance and other details.

When Privacy Mode is **disabled**, anyone with the Vault link can access it in **Read only mode**.

They will be able to view:

* Balance and assets details
* Transaction history
* Message signature details
* Vault settings
* Owner permissions

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://asigna.gitbook.io/asigna/stacks-multisig/quickstart/managing-your-vault/settings.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
